Country Director

From 2nd May 2011 Katja has been Country Director at CARD. Prior to this she was Assistant Director with responsibility for overseas fundraising and supporter communication, since joining CARD in Azerbaijan in April 2010. Before coming to Azerbaijan Katja worked for 7 years as a sponsorship director and for 3 years as a country director in a German humanitarian organisation in Tajikistan.

Katja is enjoying working in partnership with the local staff and learning more about Azeri culture. She is proud to be part of a team of staff and volunteers who are all committed to the benefit of the children and patients we are serving here in Ganja. In her free time she enjoys working with computers and doing all kinds of repair jobs.
