In Introduction...

1) When We Started
We have been working in Azerbaijan since September 2001.

2) Students Trained in 2010
During 2010 the vocational training centre trained 126 students.

3) Employment Prep
More than 20 students have gained employment as a direct result of studying at the vocational training centre.

4) Heating for Psychiatric Hospital Classes
One cubic meter of wood will heat one therapy room through the 2011/2012 winter season.

5) Lives Touched
During 2010 CARD supported over 350 vulnerable, babies, children, students and adults in our projects through feeding, renovations, health and education initiatives.

6) Nappies (or is it Diapers?)
CARD provided more than 15,000 nappies to the Babies Home during 2010.

7) Environmental Awareness
In June 2011 we continued our annual tradition of collecting abandoned rubbish from scenic picnic sites in the Goy Gol mountain region outside of Ganja as part of an Environmental Awareness project through partnership with NHE.

8) Activities for Residents
We provided over 1350 hours of activities through therapy classes for the patients at the Psychiatric Hospital in 2010.

9) Picnics with Patients
In 2011, three different groups of patients enjoyed the Azeri mountainside during picnics with our staff and volunteers.

10) Carpentry Teacher needed
Since the end of October 2011 we have been searching for a new carpentry teacher for our woodworking classes.
